What are the Top Weapons in COD Mobile?

The most critical component in every Call of Duty game is the variety of powerful weapons used to crush your enemies. Unlocking and choosing the best gun or weapon is a difficult task. After playing Call of Duty Mobile since the beta, I’ve gained enough knowledge to put together the definitive guide of the best weapons to use in each category.

The types of weapons are pistols, sub-machine guns, shotguns, assault rifles, light machine guns, and sniper rifles. These best guns in COD Mobile are my personal favorites for PVP or Battle Royale mode.

Best Assault Rifles

M4

Unlocked at level 2. The M4 rifle is fairly accurate in the game. It is the first assault rifle you unlock and the damage output is somewhat mediocre, but if you can land their shots, they will start to accumulate a lot of deaths.

AK-47

Unlocked at level 23. The famous AK-47 is the highest damage inflicted assault rifle. The recoil is high, which can be difficult to control and get headshots. It is best to shoot in short bursts instead of going completely automatic.

M16

Unlocked at level 46. If you can not handle the recoil of the AK-47 rifle, then the M16 is your best choice. It packs pretty much the same amount of damage as an AK-47, but with lesser fire-rate and distance. No brainer to use for newbies.

AK117

Unlocked at level 60. The AJ117 definitely does not has the highest damage. The main appeal of this gun is the high firing rate and pinpoint accuracy. The biggest downside is it should only be used in close combat situations, best in maps like Nuketown or Killhouse.

LK24

Unlocked at level 74. The LK24 assault rifle is possibly the worst in the game. Poor damage numbers and no other stand out features. Avoid this gun at all costs.

Type 25

Unlocked at level 104. Type 25 rifle has decent damage and rate of fire precision. If you constantly land the bullets on foes, you would easily gun them down in no time.

BK57

Unlocked at level 110. The BK57 is quite similar to the M4 in its handling and feel so It’s a pretty good weapon. Unfortunately, it is unlocked at a later stage so most people won’t be learning new weapons like this that often.

ASM 10

Unlocked at level 138. The ASM 10 is a worser version of the AK-47. It is lacking in power, range and shooting speed. The saving grace is accuracy. Not sure why it unlocks so late.

Best Sniper Rifles

DL Q33

Already unlocked from the start. This bolt-action sniper rifle hits very hard and has a one-shot kill to the head and two shots to the body. As the same suggests, the firing rate is pitifully slow and requires a long reload time per shot. Requires a hefty amount of practice time to excel. Not recommended for beginners.

M21 EBR

Unlocked at level 29. M21 EBR is the best sniper rifle in the game. While lacking the power compared to the DL Q33, it has a rapid-fire cadence, which means it is very forgiving if you miss some shots. Good for newcomers.

XPR-50

Unlocked at level 88. It has the fastest rate of fire of all sniper rifles. Mediocre shooting range and accuracy. Stick to the M21 EBR.

Unlocked at level 67. This gun is for quick scope and always on the move lovers. It packs in insane accuracy and mobility so definitely try it to see if it is your style of play.

Best Sub Machine Guns (SMGs)

AKS-74u

Unlocked at level 7. The AKS-74U is by far the best submachine gun in Call of Duty Mobile. It has all the decent damage to the precision and shutter speed. While the range leaves a little to be desired, it is still a very good SMG in the right hands.

MSMC

Unlocked at level 33. The MSMC cannot be more different than AKS-74U, because of its subpar, accuracy and range damage. However, due to its amazing rate of fire, it is still useful in certain situations.

HG 40

Unlocked at level 40. HG 40 has the longest range out of all the submachine guns but lacks damage output and fire-rate. Still a good gun to try out.

Unlocked at level 130. Chicoma SMG is one of the few weapons that justify the requirement to unlock at Level 130. The gun has crazy damage, range, and rate of fire. One of the best guns in COD mobile!

Best Light Machine Guns (LMGs)

RPD

Unlocked at Level 19. Decent LMG with satisfactory range and good hit damage. Use it during low levels.

Unlocked at level 115. The UL736, in my opinion, is the best LMG in the game. If you can learn to control its insane recoil, no enemies can stop you to be the MVP of the match.

BY15

Unlocked at level 15. This pump-action shotgun is very powerful as it fires two consecutive shots at a rapid rate.

Unlocked at level 52. The Striker shotgun is better than the BY15. It has an even better rate of fire that lets you land a couple more if you missed the first few shots.

Unlocked at level 70. HS2126 lacks range but what makes this shotgun so powerful is the fastest firing rate and a hidden perk that give you faster movement speed for every kill. Give it a test, you might like it!
